This project was created to replace an old shed that had recently collapsed. The workshop was designed to fit the space and utilise the available area. The workshop featured an array of sockets for machinery and was surrounded by a large desk space. The rear or the workshop has space for shelving and floor based equipment The workshop features a flat roof with side drainage along with two large windows that provide light and a view onto the garden. The door placement lines up with an existing patio. The construction of the workshop is timber frame and cladding with insulation to allow for winter use, with electric points for a heater if required. The large windows can be opened to provide ventilation for the space, in conjunction with the door.
Overall, I really enjoyed designing this project and using the skills from my placement to design it.
